FINE VINTAGE AND VICTORIAN BUILDINGS
ART TRAIL OPEN STUDIO MAY 6 AND JUNE 3 10AM TO 3PM
We cherish fine old buildings which delight with their elegance, proportion, and flourishes of ornamentation.
This collection honors Victorian, Italianate, Gothic, 2nd Empire, onion domes, and other buildings of 100 plus years.

 Spring Light on Buffalo StOil, 18 x 20, $1600 This very fine 1862 Ithaca landmark was home to Madame Helena Blavatsky, co-founder of the Theosophical Society in 1875. While living here she wrote and published her book Isis Unveiled. Keeler captures the play of light and shadows and dramatizes the colors to give homage to this colorful historic personage. |  Spring Pond Light- IthacaNFS. Oil on canvas on panel, 26 x 30, $2,800. When Keeler started this en plein air, the pond was teeming with wildlife and there was a fortuitous visit by a blue heron, one of Keeler's favorite birds. This gallery and Keeler's Ithaca studio are located in this stately Victorian.
